We serve a variety of food here at Natraj Cuisine of India. Our menu offers Malai Kofta, Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani, Samosa, Sev Puri and more! We are located East 2nd Street. Order online for carryout!
Very friendly service! They have an all you can lunch buffet Friday thru Sunday 11:30-3pm. It was delicious and the server was very friendly and attentive. I definitely would come back for their lunch buffet.

Food: A-. I L-O-V-E the food here. My boo thinks it's a little expensive for the value compared to the Punjabi Kitchen we tried in Long Beach. I think the saag paneer AKA Spinach Tikka at Natraj is better and I looooooove me some saag paneer!
Service: C. My boo had to yell at the server to come out and greet us when we came in. It was after 10pm though for the record...on a Saturday. The server was incredibly sweet once we got his attention and he gave us lots of complimentary items however the price did seem a bit expensive when our original intent was to just buy some take out food.
Ambiance: B. We need to check it out during normal hours because when we were in there we were the only people there. Everyone had already started hitting da clubs. The server said the brunch on the weekends here is a big hit!
The decor and span of tvs on the walls showing Ballywood like videos adds character. I love the silver tiled ceilings.

Established in the early '90s, this is one of the oldest restaurants on 2nd Street in Belmont Shore. The only other older restaurant I can think of is Domenico's. Upon arrival, we were the only diners, and I expected more people to show up, but I was wrong. It remained empty throughout our dining experience, which baffled me considering how this restaurant has outlasted so many others that have closed, with Dave's Hot Chicken being the latest.
What we ordered:
While waiting for our meal, we received a thin, tortilla-like dough with two different sauces: tamarind and chutney.
PANEER TIKKA (Paneer marinated in fresh yogurt and spice mix) - It came out steaming hot like a fajita. The marinade was creamy and sweet, applied on the paneer. Almost like a Chinese Kung Pao dish, there were sliced bell peppers and onions at the bottom of the hot plate.
PANI PURI (Fried samosa topped with chana masala, chutneys, yogurt, and onions) - This was an interesting Indian street food. The green mix is poured into the hollowed balls, and then you take one big bite. As you crush the fried, egg-shaped samosa in your mouth, a blast of mint-flavored refreshing liquid splashes in. It felt like drinking something similar to mouthwash.
TAJ MAHAL Premium Lager - This is their national Budweiser and tastes like any other lager: ice-cold and refreshing.
The service wasn't too bad. They left us alone after serving the meal. I'm glad we had something to talk about because it would have been a really quiet experience otherwise. If you're into hole-in-the-wall destinations or unique experiences, I think this restaurant fits the bill.

Food was good but service and service was great I will definitely recommend. Chicken 65 was my favorite, the onions and bell pepper tasted very fresh and delicious.

This place was recommended to me by a friend who is from India. I've probably had Indian food once or twice in my life but I was open to try it. As someone who lives in Long Beach, I try to avoid 2nd street at all costs. I find that parking is extremely difficult to find, you have to park fast with the traffic speed of the street and you have to pay during certain hours of the day. I found parking pretty far away from the restaurant but the weather was nice so I didn't mind the walk. Me and my friends wanted to try a lot of different things. We ended up ordering way too much food, we were stuffed by the end of the dinner. However, I found the food to be INCREDIBLE. Everything was very tasty, we got medium spice on most items and I felt like the spice levels were pretty true compared to the mild spice level. I was extremely impressed with the customer service as our server gave us recommendations, chatted with us about the food and even let us try some of their mango smoothie. If you want to try a lot of different items, I suggest visiting during their AYCE buffet hours. I hope to visit soon and I hope you have a great experience visiting Natraj!

$18.99 lunch buffet Fri - Sun 11am-3pm includes:
- my choice of naan
- basmati rice
- vegetable samosa
- saag paneer (my fav)
- tandoori chicken
- 2 types of daal
- vegetarian dish
- chicken tikka masala
- goat curry (that was the best)
Service was great. I was the only one in the restaurant though - let's change this :)
Mild spice (def a bit thought)
I totally forgot about the other table w chutneys and apparently rice pudding! I was in a hurry and wanted to get some food before a meeting. I love rice pudding, too...
They also have pizza and Indian street food
Ambience - quiet. I think there was either Indian TV or music
On second street. Was closed for a good amount of time after the pandemic but it opened up again in the past year

I'm always so satisfied after coming here. Best authentic Indian food in Long Beach, and always the best customer service. Really appreciate how clean the restaurant and kitchen look too

I like the food at this place, very tasty and healthy. I like Samosa and Indian Tea as substitute for lunch. You can request how spicy food you want, there is a gauge on the menu. The food temperature is well set according to each individual item.
Service is very fast and good under new ownership/management. Server always pay attention, going around keep an eye to see if customers need anything ask customers for their opinion.
Sittings are very good. Very clean place. The sitting area temperature is also well set. Table arrangements are in and outside also.

I had the Lamb Biryani and my friend had the Chana Tikka Masala!! The food is very flavorful and the owners were very kind and friendly! The ambience is also peaceful and they decorated the place very nicely. I will definitely be back :) !
